Afters - dessert parlour
This is a dessert place in Al Seef where I was invited to try out their offerings. Among the savory options, they have sandwiches. We had a turkey and cheese toastie . Grilling it makes the cheese melt and it gives a nice flavour. The other one was the waffle sandwich . This one also had cheese inside it, but the waffle was thick and I could taste mostly just that. It also tasted a bit dry. They gave some ketchup along with it, which greatly improved the flavour, but I personally feel that if I need to add sauces to make the flavour better, then the dish by itself isn't all that great. We saw a tempting dessert called the brownie point in the menu. It is served in a tall glass and contains fudge brownie, chocolate and vanilla ice-cream, hod fudge sauce, fresh banana, whipped cream, chocolate honey comb pieces, Florentine wafers and cigar wafer.
