 I recently visited this newly opened restaurant in Majestic Hotel. They invited me to try out their food and drinks. It has a nice ambience which is brighter than the previous restaurant which was there and they have more seating space too. They have a live band playing on certain days; there wasn't one when I went (Thursday) but there was a live DJ who was playing some great music. They have some interesting cocktails and their mixologist Rocky does some great work with the beverages. We started with the Rock-key ride to Himalayas which is their version of the long island ice-tea. It was kickass.  Then we had the  Be Mine  which is a vodka based drink and was great.  The next one was the forbidden pleasure which is a whiskey based drink and has burnt orange in it.  I've dined at other outlets of chaat bazaar, and I was invited to try out this newly opened one. We had one of their chaat combos - the Chaat Bazar in a box . It contains masala pav, batata vada, bhel puri, punjabi papdi chaat, delhi dahi bhalla, goan basket, kolkatta ghugni chaat, gulab jamun. The masala pav tasted good but was more like a pav bhaji itself. The dahi bhalla was average. I loved the kolkatta ghugni. The bhel puri had become a tad bit soggy. We also had their kashmiri pakoda rolls . These were cheesy on the inside and crispy on the outside. We totally enjoyed them. One of their fusion items is the dabeli tacos . As the name suggests, it is the dabeli masala inside a taco. It is an interesting combination to try out. Something that made me pleasantly surprised was the karak mojito . It is basically iced karak tea. I personally loved it. If you're a fan of karak chai and like experimenting, then this might be your cup of tea !

 I've been to Project Chaiwala first time a long time ago and they recently invited me to check out their newly opened kiosk in Silicon Oasis. It is just a small kiosk and doesn't offer any seating so is suited best for a takeaway or a delivery.  It was summer and we started with the ice-tea . We had the regular one as well as the hibiscus one. These were not bad. For the snacks we tried their desi smashmosa which is their take on a samosa chaat. It tasted really good. The next item was the chilli cheese toastie . It also had some jalapenos in it and tasted great. We then tried the butter chicken paratha . The butter chicken tasted great, and overall this was flavourful. For the dessert, we tried their Nutella toastie . The good thing is that it isn't an overload of sweetness, but tastes nice especially if you're a fan of Nutella. We couldn't leave without trying out their teas.  This is a newly started restaurant and they invited me to try out their food. The restaurant isn't very big and at first felt like it was just another restaurant but the food bowled me over. We started with the Hakimi sherbat . It is a cold beverage which basically has saffron milk with watermelon pieces in it. It was served chilled and felt really refreshing. We totally loved the way it tasted and couldn't get enough of this. They have some refreshing shots too. We tried the kala khatta shots and the kachchi kairi shots . They're served with chilli on the rim of the glass which adds the real kick to it. The flavours tasted natural and the right amount of tangy. For starters, we had the mutton seekh kebab . These were really soft and served with puris. Really flavourful, although a tad bit oily. The next was the fish chilli dry . It had big  pieces of fish and the chilli was just right.  They're recently re-branded Koyla rooftop as Level 8. We were invited here to try out their food and experience the place It is located alongside the pool on the top floor (8th floor). You can see Burj Khalifa at a distance and a view of the Ras Al Khor area. They have good shisha. I had the kiwi paan, and also tried the coconut vanilla, as well as the peach and they were good.  The food was average though. We tried the cheese balls, chilli chicken, chicken manchurian, stuffed chilli, and spicy peanuts for starters. The peanuts were good, and so was the manchurian. The rest could have been better.  For the mains we had the chicken korma and fried rice which was decent. Among the cocktails, I had tequila sunrise which was good, and the ginlet which was okay the first time, but the second one that they got tasted better. The place has a desi vibe to it. The valet parking is not free for Koyla, but you can park yourself for free in the basement.
