 This is a lovely place and I love the ambience here. It feels classy. They have ladies night too, and I went there with a few of my friends. Ladies get 3 drinks free and the food is at a discounted price.  The drinks were good. Although some did feel a bit watered down.  I had the berry mocktail which was really good. It had a a generous amount of crushed berries in it.  We also liked the edamame and the fries.  The sushi was not bad.  The staff is rude and uncooperative though. We asked for some comfortable chairs as a couple of us just got stools without the backrest. There was an empty table beside us that had these extra chairs. The staff said that the table is reserved and they cannot give us the chairs. Nobody came and sat on that table throughout the duration of our visit. 

Bayty has an Italian buffet on Thursday nights and they invited me to try it out. The place has a nice view and good seating too. The place felt quite cozy. The buffet has a good variety, starting from the salads, breads, cold cuts, appetisers, mains, and the desserts.  There's a live pizza and pasta station too. I called for a spaghetti in white sauce. It was a green coloured spinach spaghetti, and it tasted great.  The bruschetta was average, and the arancini was a bit weird, the cheese sticks were okay.  The eggplant parmigianno could have been better.  The pan fried fish fillet was good enough.  The desserts were good enough. I liked the panacotta, and the Tartufo.  I found most of the items in the buffet to be average. There were a few that were nice.  The buffet is priced at AED 110.

The name Pablo is such a fancy sounding one, and perhaps that's the kind of expectation I had form this place when they invited me. As soon as I went there, I realised that it was quite a small place.  They have some interesting drinks, especially the one with passion fruit in it. We ordered one passion fruit grape which tasted nice. It had a prominent flavour of grape, and we could taste the passion fruit too.  The other one that we had was the passion fruit orange . This tasted tangy and fruity but took about 25 mins to be served. They have shawerma too, and they recommended us the American shawerma . It was my first time having this. They had used sauces that they'd use in a burger and it was served with fries on the side. This tasted really good and worth a try.  We also saw the Italian burger on the menu and were intrigued; had to check it out. The burger itself was good. This is their second outlet in Dubai, conveniently located on SZR.  It has nice interiors, and a very Indian upmarket feel to it. They have live music too.  We started with the samosa chaat which was really good. The dahi bhalla was good enough as well. Then we had a chaat platter - the hara bhara kebab was really good, and the fish tikka was nice and soft. The paneer tasted really yum.  For the mains, my favourite item would have to be the palak lasooni . It had a lovely flavour of the garlic which wasn't overpowering, and the spinach tasted lovely.  We had the Mutton stew , and the flavours were really good. The flavours of the spices had seeped into the flesh.  Dal makhani also tasted great. It had a nice consistency to it.  We ended our meal with their signature desserts - the beetroot halwa . This is a chain from back in India and we used to go there quite often. I was waiting to try it eagerly since it opened up here, and this day finally we went there.  The ambience is really nice and feels upmarket. Seeing the menu, I was pleasantly surprised as to how reasonably priced it was. There is seating upstairs as well as downstairs, though only the one at the top was operational when we went.  (P. S. If there's someone in your group who has difficulty climbing, then it's better to check beforehand if the section below is operational.) For the starters, we had the Reshmi malai chicken . It has a marination of yoghurt and cream, and is flavoured with pepper. The chicken was soft and tasted delicious. The amount of spices felt just right.  For the mains, we had the Fish Rahra . This is a Patiala dish made in a spicy tomato gravy. The gravy tasted superb. The fish was first fried and was crispy. We were expecting it to be a bit softer. No complain about ...

This restaurant is located in the lobby level in Novotel. We had gone here for iftar and they had a set menu for AED 140. It was quite crowded the day we went. The food looked appetising when we had a look before the iftar started. There was a selection of dates and dryfruits, salads and cold starters, soup, hot starters, mains and dessert. When we actually started serving the food in our plate and having it, it tasted average. It wasn't bad, but we were certainly expecting more. The salads were plenty and did taste fresh and nice - fattoush, tabbouleh, hummus, eggplant salad, pasta salad, potato salad, chickpea salad, muhammara and more. The shawarma sandwich (rolls) was dry and below average. There were three types of meat for the grills. This too was average, and tasted a bit dry. There was ravioli too, and that tasted good.
