Cravers Street - Goan street food and more

Image
The name itself had me craving for some good food and when I they invited me to try this place out I was eagerly looking forward. This is a restaurant that serves some Goan street food specialities. We started with the Ros Omelette . It literally mean omelette with gravy. The omelette was thick and served in a greenish gravy along with pav. It was my first time trying this out and I totally loved it. The gravy and the omelette tasted really delicious. Next was the chicken cafreal pav . I've had cafreal before but not inside a pav. This was a nice combination. The cafreal tasted good and along with the pav it made for a good snack.  Then we had the dynamite chicken pops . These are spicy chicken pops which tasted nice and meaty. They were a bit on the spicier side which I liked. Although, it didn't taste like the "dynamite" flavour that I had in mind.  They've got some momos too and we tried the chicken tikka momos . It was interesting to see chicken tikka inside a

Desi Wings

This is a brand that specializes in chicken wings as you must have guessed from the name, but what's interesting to know is that their wings are baked! They invited me to try out the various wings that they have. At the time of writing this, they have an eat-all-you-can deal for AED 49 valid from Sunday to Wednesday until the end of February 2021. There are four flavours included in this (listed below) and you can have unlimited quantity of each of these.  Sriracha - This was my favourite one of the lot. It's quite spicy but not the insane kind that will burn your tastebuds. It is really flavourful. Tamarind Chilli - This was my second favourite here. The menu mentioned that this one is spicy and I was curious. It is served with some red chillies on top which really complement the flavour well. Just the tamarin sauce itself tastes a bit sweet and I strongly recommend having it with the chillies. Honey Mustard - Although I'm usually not a fan of sweet flavours for savoury

Storyboard cafe

This is a cafe in Karama that has newly opened and I was invited here to try it out.  We started with the egg puffs which were really good. It had a nice egg masala inside.  The chicken samosas too were quite flavourful. We then tried the zinger club sandwich which had a nice crunch to it and tasted good too. The fresh chicken patty burger was saucy and nice. We also tried the dynamite chicken here. It is fried chicken topped with dynamite sauce. It had a mild spicy flavour to it. What I really loved here was the Brownie cold coffee . If you're a fan of cold coffee and want a bit of a cakey flavour in it, then you should definitely try it out.  The SB signature cold coffee too is quite good. They have some nice faloodas too. We had the gudbud falooda and the royal falooda . They've got ice-cream, fruits, dry-fruits, and lots more. These were fabulous. For chai lovers, do try their SB signature masala chai . I was expecting it to be just like regular one, but it had a ni
