 This is a Jordanian restaurant where I was invited to try the food.  It has a nice décor and seating for about 25-30 people. They have some interesting dishes on their menu and we were spoilt for choice.  We started with the chicken Mexican saj . It had a delicious filling of chicken with lovely Mexican flavours.  Then we tried their stuffed falafels . They have various kinds. My favourite was the one stuffed with cheese. The cheese just melted as I took a bite. They also have the one stuffed with nuts which was nice.  Musakhan is another Jordanian item that I like. I've usually had it in the form of rolls but here they had one as a meal. It is served on a big plate with chicken on top. This was really flavourful. It has a bit of a crispy texture to it and was maroon in colour Looked appealing too. It did have quite a bit of oil / fat on it though.  One of my favourite dishes here was the shami fatteh .  This is a small but nice mandi restaurant in Silicon Oasis. They have a nice majlis style seating. I was invited here to try out the food. We started with some salads like tabbouleh and fattoush which were really fresh.  The mohamarra was good enough too. Then we had the mixed grill . I especially liked the lamb kebabs in this. They were very flavourful. We then tried their chicken mandi and chicken madhbi . I liked the madhbi more. The grilled chicken had a nice smoky flavour to it.  chicken mandi chicken madhbi There was the lamb madfoon too. The lamb was really soft and the meat just fell off the bone. It tasted really good. This is a nice place, and the food was nice overall. 

 I've been to Project Chaiwala first time a long time ago and they recently invited me to check out their newly opened kiosk in Silicon Oasis. It is just a small kiosk and doesn't offer any seating so is suited best for a takeaway or a delivery.  It was summer and we started with the ice-tea . We had the regular one as well as the hibiscus one. These were not bad. For the snacks we tried their desi smashmosa which is their take on a samosa chaat. It tasted really good. The next item was the chilli cheese toastie . It also had some jalapenos in it and tasted great. We then tried the butter chicken paratha . The butter chicken tasted great, and overall this was flavourful. For the dessert, we tried their Nutella toastie . The good thing is that it isn't an overload of sweetness, but tastes nice especially if you're a fan of Nutella. We couldn't leave without trying out their teas.  I had heard about this brand and wanted to check it out. They offered to send me some food at home for a review. Since my family is vegetarian , I asked only for veg food.  The delivery arrived on time, and was packed nicely. For starters, we had the spinach corn tikki . It was soft and a little crispy on the outside. It tasted really good and was served with khubz and a salad. For the biryani, we had one subz-e-biryani . The aroma of the biryani was just too good and we couldn't wait to dig in. The flavour too lived up to our expectations and we really liked it.  The other biryani was the zaikedaar paneer biryani . The spiced paneer added a lot of flavour to the biryani, and I enjoyed this even more than the subz-e-biryani. The biryanis were served with raita and gulab jamun. The gulab jamun too was soft and yummy.

This is one of the restaurants that that my friends frequently visit.  We went there on a Friday and it wasn't very crowded.  We ordered a whole chicken done in the mild wild sauce. We didn't quite find it spicy. The taste was pretty good and the chicken was juicy.  We also ordered a meal for four - this comes with a large pizza, and two sides. I wish it also included beverages.  It was chicken tikka pizza that we asked for, and it was cheesy, and the chillies made it spicy as well.  For the sides, we asked for masala fries and garlic bread (with cheese). These tasted good along with the pizza.  The service seemed a bit slow, and the staff wasn't all that attentive.  A good enough experience overall. 

This sounds like a fancy name and I was looking forward to see  what's the concept like when I was invited here. The place though isn't all that fancy, and felt a bit dead.  We started with some refreshing drinks. We had the lemon mint, mango juice, lemonade, fresh lime water, lassi, and pakola.  When we asked them what's the difference between lemonade and fresh lime water, they said that lemonade has more ice and the rest is same. I was dumbstruck. I still thought perhaps I didn't hear it right, so we ordered it, and it was exactly the same.  The lemon mint was nice and so was the mango.  For starters, we ordered their mixed grill platter. It had the fish tikka, bhari beef, tikka boti, malai boti, and chicken tikka leg. I liked the tikka leg as well as the tikka boti. The seekh kebabs and fisha tikka were not bad but could have been better. For the mains, we ordered the mutton balti gosh. It was served in a bucket as the name suggests. Althou...

I have been to other outlets of this restaurant as well and the food is really nice.  This time we had a kafta lamb wrap. It has spicy lamb inside with tomatoes, pickles and more, and tasted really good and fresh.  We then had the rajin cajun chicken. This was served hot and the chicken was flavourful. On the side was salsa which was yummy, and some sour cream. For our drinks, we had a fresh yoghurt, well laban, but they call it yoghurt.  And an interesting name that caught our attention was rose water. It was just like rose sherbat actually, and tasted good.  We went quite late at night, and were sitting outside. The place was understaffed, and it took some time to call the waiters.
