Bidaya - healthy cafe

If you're someone who is into health and fitness, you'll love this place. It is located inside Gravity Calisthenics Gym where I was invited to check out their food.

We started with a smoothie called Berrylicious which is made from strawberries and blueberries. I'm a fan of berries and this smoothie tasted great. It is also very low on calories.

The other smoothie that I tried was called Leila. It is made from Nutella and banana and although I'm not a fan of banana, this actually did taste quite good. It is a quite high in calories though and usually had as a meal itself.

For fans of peanut butter, the Peanut Butter Bomb is a shake worth trying.

We then tried their healthy sandwiches. The mushroom one and the beef one was really good. The chicken sandwich wasn't too bad either. These were lightly toasted.

For their salads, there was an interesting spicy beef salad. It's got a lot of veggies and beef. It is served along with a sauce with a hint of a Tabasco to it which gives it the spicy flavour.

They have the quinoa salad too. It's got a fruits like pomegranate, blackberries, and more in it. Though this wasn't something I personally enjoy, it did feel quite refreshing.

The Kale salad also has some lettuce and croutons in it which gives it a nice crunchy feel, and combined with the creamy sauce on the side, it tastes great.

If you're a fan of Acai then their Acai bowls are worth checking out.

They've also got various croissants. I liked the cheese croissant. They also have the plain and the chocolates ones.

I tried the chocolate chip cookie too. It was a tad bit harder than expected.

I liked the overall vibe of this place. It is usually not crowded and the colour scheme gives an earthy feel. During daytime, there's a good amount of natural light too which makes me want to sit there.
