You need no guessing that this place is all about chocolate. I was invited here recently to satisfy my sweet tooth.  We ordered some shakes to start with. There was the monster milkshake (pictured below) which was pretty good, but me personally being a fan of Oreo, I liked the Oreo milkshake more.  Another sweet milkshake is the caramel frappe which is quite sweet as you must have guessed.  For fans of pain perdu (french toast), they've got a big one with ice-cream. The over-powering cinnamon it in can be a deal maker or a deal breaker. I'm not much of a cinnamon so I didn't quite devour it.  Order a chocolate pancake and it comes loaded with chocolate. The pancakes are soft and it is a treat for chocolate lovers. I don't come across Spanish cuisine too often, and when Bubo Barcelona invited me for a bloggers meet, I was really excited. I had seen this restaurant a few times, since it is just outside one of the elevators at citywalk; so obviously, it is easy to access if you park in the right parking.  As soon as you enter, you'll notice the various kinds of desserts and chocolates kept there; some really interesting ones. Like the one pictured below is called "break my heart". It contains chocolate bonbons inside.  The place has a nice decor, and some outside seating too. If you're sitting outside, you'll notice the orange and blue theme which is contrasting and bright.  We started with some traditional soup. This is cold Spanish soup called the gazpacho . It had a good texture to it, and was really tangy since it is made primarily from tomato. It wasn't bad, but I think I'll have to prepare myself mentally for a cold soup first.  Then w...

Eggspectation is more than just an egg place. They have some good burgers, pastas, flatbreads, salads, and juices too.  I was invited here for a cooking and tasting session with their executive chef Rohan . I had a hot cup of latte as I waited there for our session to start. They have two outlets - JBR, and this one which is in City Walk. The kitchen of this one is smaller as compared to the one in JBR, but is really clean and hygienic.  Chef Rohan started off with the omelette and made it look really easy. Then we moved on to the poached eggs, and he gave us tips about the amount of vinegar you need to add in the water to get a perfectly poached egg. He also showed us how to make a flatbread from scratch. Then we moved on to the savoury crepe and last but not the least - the s'mores french toast (which I will cover later in this post).  Omelettes can have a lot of different variations,  but I haven't seen one that looks as good as the one served ...
