When I saw the name it definitely sounded like an interesting concept. They basically have ice-cream rolls in different forms, and when I was invited here, I learnt that they use only natural ingredients which came as a pleasant surprise. They have fresh real ice-cream, and even the various sauces used for flavouring are made from natural fruits.  We started with the Ferrero taco . It is an ice-cream roll that is made with Ferrero Rocher, and it topped with Ferrero too, as well as chocolate sauce and served in a taco. If reading this itself has got you craving for it, you definitely need to try it out. This was among my my favourites here. The crispy taco along with the soft ice-cream roll and the Ferrero tastes just amazing.  The next one was the mango mango . This is definitely the place where I have seen the widest range of kulfi offerings, and I was eagerly looking forward when I was invited to try out their new outlet. They have kulfis as a stick, or you can even have it cut into pieces and served in a bowl. The paan flavour was really nice, and you can't go wrong with this one. You feel like you're having paan. The avocado flavour was something different and I hadn't had it before, but I personally did not enjoy it much. If you like something on the sweeter side, then the rose flavour is also a good option.to it. I also liked the Saffron flavour. It wasn't too sweet, but had a nice flavour of saffron to it. They have interesting items named after various places, and we tried Lahore . It is a combination of jelly and falooda topped with rabdi, and you can have your choice of kulfi with it. This was really nice since you get to have falooda, and at the same time it doesn't become overly sweet...

If you're a desi, I'm sure you love kulfi. There are a lot of kulfi places around town and more are opening every day. Bombay kulfi has recently opened up in karama and I was invited to try it out.  As soon as I entered, I liked the clean look that the place has to it. It has some posters and some quotes on the wall, and that's about it. The ambience is very simple overall.  We started with their guava chilli . It is a guava flavoured kulfi with chili powder on top. I got a really nice flavour of the guava and the chili really added spice to it. Since I personally like spicy, there was ample chili powder on it, but you can have a little lesser if you prefer it that way.  I liked it more than the guava chili that I've had in other places.  The next flavour we had was the tender coconut . This is perhaps the name that first come to my mind when I think of kulfi. I've visited other outlets of theirs and really liked the offerings. I was invited to try out this outlet.  Just liked the other outlets, this one too is designed in a desi style with a lot of desi / Bollywood things dotting the place.  We started with one of their kul coffees . These are like coffees that have kulfi in it and are available in various flavours. We tried the toffee one and it was really good. It was a tad bit thicker than I would have liked but the taste was nice.  For our kulfi, we first tried the mango kulfi . It was served with real mangoes on the side, which really adds on to the kulfi experience and accentuates the flavours further. We really liked the flavours of this one.  I had had the black pepper kulfi in another outlet, and asked for it here too, but sadly it wasn't available.  So we had the blueberry kulfi . This kulfi place had some innovative offerings that they invited my to try out.  It's just a kiosk in the ground floor and you'll see it only if you're passing by. But once you see their offerings, you're sure to try it out. Also, the good thing is that you can see them make it in front of you.  We started with their ice gola . They've got a lot of flavors and instead of just mixing them all, I opted for Mango, Kiwi and Rose. The fruity and sweet flavor were really nice. This was topped with malai and some nuts too which added to the flavor and appeal.  Then we moved on to their kulfi rolls . These are just like the ice-cream rolls that you must have seen online.
