We were in the mood for some Mexican food that weekend and decided to check out this place. I like the ambience better than the other outlet that I visited last month.  While we waited for our food, they got us some tortilla chips to munch on.  We started with the chicken flautas. These is basically a crispy rolled chicken fried tacos. Inside is a filling of some lettuce, cheese, sour cream. Take a bit and it does feel very satisfying.  For the mains, we had a chicken fajita which is marinated chicken served on a pan along with sizzling vegetables. On the side is guac, sour cream, and pico de gallo. It did taste really good.  Next was the rib eye taco. It's interesting to see them do this in the form of a taco. It has a really catchy name and when my friend suggested that we should try it, I had to check it out.  Finding parking was a bit hard, but I eventually got it. The restaurant looks interesting and inviting  from the outside too. The interiors are done up really well and feel classy with a grey and gold theme.  They've got a lot of appealing pictures of the menu items on the iPad and we were confused as to what to order. There are some small bites too, and you can order those if you don't want the big portions.  We ordered the MAD Caesar which is their version of the Caesar salad. The lettuce is made into a small size which becomes like a base. Then it is topped with everything that's in a Caesar salad. 312 eatery is basically a burger place which serves some good food.  We started with the Bangin' buffalo chicken sandwich . They make the crispy chicken patty in a red sauce. Shake Shack has interesting stuff, and they invited me to try their delicious food. I was pleasantly surprised to see this outlet. It was pretty big and spacious for a mall. It also has a little play area with a foosball table. There's an entrance from the front side of the mall too, and you don't have to go through the main entrance all around.  We started with the cheese fries . These were crinkle cut and topped with melted cheese; these tasted good. One of their speciality burgers is the Shack Stack . This is a cheeseburger and crisp-fried portobello mushroom filled with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, shack sauce. The beef patty along with this combination tastes really good. This is an interesting casual diner located at the North end of La Mer that serves Uzbek / Russian food and cuisines from around the place. They invited me to try out their food.  It was a bit dimly lit is what I noticed as soon as I entered. They have a nice see-through kitchen where you can see the chefs preparing delicious meals in front of you.  We started with their salads. First we had the aubergine salad . The texture of this was very different from what I'd expect from an aubergine. It wasn't squishy, but sort of firm and looked like  a well cooked cube. There was some feta cheese in it too, and I really liked this one.  The other one was the bahor salad . This was basically made from cucumber julienne in a yoghurt preparation. It tasted fresh but the taste wasn't something unique I'd say. The potato and mushroom vareniki is something that I really liked a lot. It had a lovely texture and was a bit juicy too; something similar to a dumpling....

Beesket is an interesting healthy concept that I was invited to try out.  They cater primarily to healthy juices. They offer two types of juices - original and squeezed. To put in simple terms, the squeezed ones are strained, whereas in the original ones the fibre is retained.  You choose three flavours (fruits / vegetables) to make a juice out of. In order to choose, you select the corresponding capsule and put it in a basket that is shaped like a beehive (hence the name beesket - bee + basket). Once you select it, you can even check the amount of calories it has using the in-built sensors in it. There are also pre-set combinations if you're too confused to choose. I made a combination of Mango, Peach, and Raspberry. It tasted really nice.
