This restaurant is located inside Al Barsha Mall and the first thing I noticed before I even entered is that the parking is easy to find; but at the same time, this mall is a small one and doesn'thave too many shops. This was the first time I was going to this mall since I was invited by this restaurant. As soon as you enter, you notice the fantastic view from this place. It is beside the Barsha Pond Park , and you get a view of the Burj-Al-Arab too.  We ordered the mezzeh platter to start with.  It comes with a selection of hot and cold mezzeh.  I really liked the meat kibbeh as the meat was really soft, and the cheese rekak was delicious. It's that time of the year when the city is abuzz with food festivals all over the city and one simply cannot miss the Etisalat beach canteen . There are loads of restaurants, many of which have new and interesting concepts. This post is about Trèsind . Trèsind is almost synonymous with molecular gastronomy in Dubai and I was waiting to try this one out since a long time. Their outlet in the Etisalat beach canteen also had live cooking shows and their head chef was making interesting items for the audience. With Trèsind you are spoilt for choice; finally we settled on a few. We started with a mocktail called "Lava lamp". The name itself is so interesting and it certainly lives up to that. The best part was that they made it in front of us. It is a passion fruit juice based drink with berries in it, and not to forget the smoke coming out of it as a result of the liquid nitrogen. This restaurant by the celebrity chef Jamie Oliver had me coming in with a lot of expectations. With the lip-smacking food, friendly staff and the lovely view of the  Jumeirah area, it sure lived up to it.  They have an outside seating as well as inside. When the weather permits, the outside seating feels relaxed and has a breathtaking view of the Burj-Al-Arab hotel. They have a wide variety of dishes and you feel spoilt for choice. We were 6 of us, so we could try out a lot of things.  Among th e few things we ordered were: Pumpkin Ravioli. With roasted pumpkin, ricotta and ample of rosemary butter this tasted heavenly.
