Tabule is a restaurant located in Roda al Murooj, and you guessed it right...it is an Arabic restaurant, since it shares its name with a famous Levantine salad. It has indoor as well as outdoor seating, and as the weather was pleasant, we chose the latter. I like their use of small white lights which gives the place a calm feel.  They welcomed us with a refreshing orange-based drink in a lovely glass.  We started with the usual Arabic cold starters. Of-course we couldn't miss the tabouleh . They have three types of this, and the waiter recommended the one with avocado . I haven't seen any other place that makes this with avocado, and what's even better is that this particular tabouleh is made right at your table! It can't get any more fresher than this. Almaz is a Moroccan and Lebanese restaurant located in the JBR Walk; it looks classy and since it is located a tad bit higher compared to the other restaurants,you get a good view of the beach. This also makes for a good place to enjoy the winters while dining. I noticed that a few of the waiters were wearing the traditional Moroccan attire and it looked really nice. Before we placed our order, they got us a good selection of breads in an artistic basket, along with pickled olives. The breads were nice and different than what are served elsewhere. We started with some hummus , and a falafel platter. The hummus had a good consistency and tasted nice. The falafel were Moroccan style, which is a bit different to taste than Arabic ones. I would like to start by mentioning about the location first. It is beside the Dubai Creek and you get an amazing view of the burj khalifa and the buildings on the other side. Whether you go durin the day or at night, you are sure to love the view.  The restaurant might be a bit confusing to find, but if you follow the map correctly, you'll reach the building. The restaurant has valet parking which costs AED 10. The ambiance of this place is fantastic. They have a smoking area (indoor and outdoor) as well as a non-smoking. I was invited for a tasting here, and the staff that is really courteous offered to set up the table for us, i.e. get their best dishes for us to try out. Their chef Charbel came and explained about their dishes. The manager Charbel (yes, he too had the same name) was friendly and ensured that everything went well throughout. Al Safadi is a well-known name for Arabic cuisine and it started its Umm Sequim outlet recently. This outlet is huge and spacious and you'll also find parking near it easily. it has outside seating as well as inside; and another interesting thing about the inside seating is that it has designated smoking and non-smoking area. So if you want to sit inside and do not like the smell of shisha, there is a designated zone for you. We started with the all-time favourite - the hummus. We ordered the hummus beiruty , which usually is the one with parsley and some spices. This one also had cumin in it, which was something new to me, and that brought about a peculiar flavour to it - a bit of an Indian flavour. Along with that they served fresh hot bread. This was brown bread unlike the usual white one. Also, the waiters would come intermittently with a basket of hot bread and would replace the old one on your table.
