This is a delivery review. 

 I ordered some food from here via the Zomato app. 

 The ultimate veggie burger was good enough. I liked the flavourful patty. It could have been a bit more saucy though. 

 I took the add-on fries with the burger. The fries were totally soggy by the time they were delivered and I didn't like them at all.

 The other item that I had was the masala noodles. These were average. I did expect some more vegetables in it, and some more spices too. 

 It was the delivery time that I had a major issue with. I placed the order at 9:06pm. The estimated delivery time was 45 mins (which is still a bit on the higher side considering my delivery location was Mankhool). I called them after 45 mins and they said that the driver is on the way and I should get it within 15 mins. After 15 more mins (totally 1 hour), I called them, but they didn't pickup the phone despite calling multiple times. 
Finally after a total of 76 mins (from the time of placing order), the delivery guy reached my location and called me. 

 Bad delivery service combined with below average food made it a bad experience for me.

This is a Brazilian brand which has 200 outlets worldwide and has recently started in Dubai with 8 outlets. They invited me to try out their outlet in Citywalk. Most of their outlets here are kiosks but this is a comparatively bigger one. The ambience is nice and they've used a green and purple colour scheme which gives a bit of a earthy vibe.  You can customize your acai bowl or smoothie with the various ingredients that they have.  We took one with Acai, chia seeds, almonds, hazelnut, and strawberry. It was nice and healthy, although colder than usual. If you have it quickly, you might get a brain-freeze.  In the other one we had acai with condensed milk, strawberry, almonds and chia seeds. I liked the flavour of the condensed milk in this one.  It's a good place especially if you like to have something healthy.  Click here to salivate

Humpty Dumpty - desi Chinese

This is a small place located in Karama, and my friends took me there. Initially I was a apprehensive as to how this place might be, but it didn't seem to be all that bad.  We were five of us, and moderately hungry.  We ordered the Schezwan sixer . This is a combo which contains 1 portion of each: fried rice, noodles, chicken gravy, soup, Chinese bhel, chicken lollipop . This costs just about AED 50. The above combo is also available in a vegetarian option which costs around 40 AED.   We started with the soup which I really liked. It was the manchow soup which was spicy and tangy. The chinese bhel was okay. It wasn't so crunchy, and neither did it have a very good taste.  The chicken lollipop wasn't too bad; it were fairly good. Baku food : What did I eat in Azerbaijan?

Azerbaijani food has a lot of Middle Eastern influence, and a lot of dishes are variations of those you get in the Middle East. There were a few good local restaurants I visited, and a few others too. I'm going to talk about all of these in this post.  The name of the dishes may be a bit different in Azeri (language), and some might just be a translation / description of the dish. You can click on the name of the restaurant to get the exact location.   Burc Qala [well known for Azeri cuisine]:- This is located in the heart of the city - Icheri Shehr (which means Old City). While walking through the old forts in this area, we came across this restaurant. The interiors feel really traditional. Also, a lot of shades of red are used. Here, I had the qutab , which is a very famous local dish; more of a snack. It is made from thinly rolled dough, and has filling inside. It usually has two variants - minced meat, and mixed greens.
