Fruit shop on Greams Road

When I first read the name while looking for some healthy places online, I found it a little weird, but at the same time catchy. I expected it to be a really small place; may be something like most of the Malbari cafeterias in Bur Dubai, but upon entering I saw that it is way better than I expected. They interiors were bright and colorful with posters of attractive fruits. The name comes from their first branch located on Greams Road in Chennai.

The menu looked interesting and has so many items that you'll be spoilt for choice.
After much pondering we asked the waiter for recommendations based on our preferences. He recommended the Jughead special smoothie. He didn't quite describe what it had but he was sure we'd like it.
When it was served, sure enough it looked tempting. It had some honey, dates, and lots more to it. It had a creamy consistency and was really delicious.

We also ordered a mulberry and banana smoothie. This one too was yummy. We could get the flavor of the banana and the mulberry. It was really thick. I really liked the fact that they have all these berries which aren't usually available elsewhere and they make lovely combinations with it. Most of them are available in two sizes - large and small.

For a little bite we ordered a roasted vegetables and hummus sandwich. Being a fan of hummus, this really intrigued me. The sandwich tasted really fresh, though it felt a tad bit dry. Also, there could have been some more hummus in it.

The service is fast and the staff is attentive.

If you're looking for a hygienic place for some healthy and delicious smoothies, and prices that won't pinch your pocket, this is the place to go.
