Liquid Lounge

 We were looking for some reasonably priced places with food and alcohol to go on a Saturday night. We chose this place as they had a Zomato pro discount.

They had very limited options for mocktails. 

We ordered a strawberry mojito was not bad.

The virgin pinacolada was basically just pineapple juice. We couldn't taste any coconut milk in it whatsoever. 

The beer was the only drink that was good, since obviously they don't make it themselves. 

For starters, we had a masala fries, which were good enough. 

Then we asked for a portion of chicken buffalo wings. We couldn't really taste the buffalo sauce in the wings, and they seemed like just fried wings. 

We finally ordered a cold mezze platter. The consistency of the hummus was too thin - almost like that of laban. It didn't taste good either. The labneh was not bad. The fattoush was below average. The menu said that the cold mezze platter also has moutabel and tabbouleh in it. When the platter was served, both of these were missing. Instead, they had replaced one of the mezze with stuffed wine leaves (warak enab). When we asked about it they said that those mentioned in the menu aren't available. They said they could give us a Greek salad instead. So basically they were waiting for us to notice that something isn't right, and then try to make up for it. Otherwise they would not have even bothered. 

At the end of all of this, we asked for the bill, and offered to pay via Zomato pro since there was a discount mentioned on the app (which is why we were there in the first place). They said that there is some problem with zomato from their end and it currently isn't working. After calling their manager and telling him how pathetic the food was and that we were here only because we were getting a discount on the app, he gave us some discount from their end on the bill. 

The waitress serving us was polite which was the only good thing about our visit here. 

P. S. We had visited the place a few days before writing this review. As of writing this review, Zomato pro offer has been removed from the restaurant on the Zomato app.
