Shri Krishna Bhavan

We were looking for a good breakfast place on a weekend early morning and since this opens early, we decided to check this out.

They have some interesting menu options and we tried some of the Andhra specialities.

We starred with the gunta punugulu which is basically paniyaram. They were soft on the inside and crispy outside; served with coconut chutney which made it even more flavourful.

Next, I had the upma pesarattu. I've had these two separately but was my first time having ti together. It does taste great as a combination too.

Then we had the Karnataka combo tiffin. This has a mangalore bun, akki roti, rava idly, khara bhath, kesari bhath, and coffee. I really liked the managalore bun. It was fresh and slightly sweet.  The akki roti had some nice flavours to it, especially when had with the yellow curry along with it.

The filter coffee no doubt was very good as expected.

It did get quite crowded by the time we were done.

Overall, it was a nice dining experience with lovely food.
