Double Decker - burgers and lots more
If you're looking for an upmarket place that is open-air and serves some great burgers, then you've come to the right one. They were having the world burger tour and had invited a few of us for the event.
They had a live burger station where you could customize our burgers. You could choose the bun, the meat, and the fillings, and you could see it being made in front of you. I tried a lamb burger and a chicken one, and I must say both of these were juicy and flavourful. There wasn't much in there apart from the patty and the bun, but it did feel really satisfying.
There also was a burger eating competition that day where there was a 2kg beef burger. "It was huge" and that's an under-statement. Though this isn't the one I had, I really did like the idea of having it.
There was other finger food too. I liked the maki roll with prawn on it that came with a pipette full of sauce that you have to squeeze in before you have it.
The salmon sushi was nice too, and tasted fresh.
There were also some potato croquettes which were good, the chicken wings were just okay.
The deserts are also worth checking out. The cupcakes are the ones that I really enjoyed.
