Humpty Dumpty - desi Chinese

This is a small place located in Karama, and my friends took me there. Initially I was a apprehensive as to how this place might be, but it didn't seem to be all that bad.

We were five of us, and moderately hungry.
We ordered the Schezwan sixer. This is a combo which contains 1 portion of each: fried rice, noodles, chicken gravy, soup, Chinese bhel, chicken lollipop. This costs just about AED 50.

The above combo is also available in a vegetarian option which costs around 40 AED.

We started with the soup which I really liked. It was the manchow soup which was spicy and tangy.

The chinese bhel was okay. It wasn't so crunchy, and neither did it have a very good taste.

The chicken lollipop wasn't too bad; it were fairly good. Four pieces of this come in one portion.

The rice and the noodles were good enough, and had a typical 'desi' flavor to it.

The chicken gravy was just okay. I felt it lacked flavour, and this dish was there just so that the rice and noodles don't feel too dry while having them.

Considering the price, I think the place is quite worth it. If you're looking for a very reasonable place to have desi Chinese food, you can check this out.
