Little Bangkok - Motor city

We went here around 11:30 p.m. which is about closing time for this restaurant, yet they were kind enough to accommodate us, when a nearby restaurant hadn't; and I think this talk a lot about their attitude towards the customers.
The staff seemed in a bit of a rush to take our order, and understandably so, but we were still deciding what to order and they gave us some time.
Since it was their closing time and the last order, we had to order all of our food together.

For starters, we ordered a vegetable dimsum. They were a bit sticky, had a tint of green to it and were served hot. They looked quite appealing. As far as the taste is concerned, they were just about okay. I've eaten better vegetable dimsums and these didn't quite make the cut. I felt they lacked some flavor, and also after adding the sauces, they weren't all that great.

For mains, we had a stir fried vegetable in black pepper sauce along with a veg fried rice.
The stir fried vegetable was great. It had the right amount of pepper to it, and the vegetables tasted really good. The amount of vegetables was right, though I think they could have a few more types of vegetables in it.

The rice complemented this very well. It had peas, carrot and corn in it and  tasted quite good. Also, the quantity was huge. It was more than enough for the two of us.

The interiors of this place are really nice. They feel traditional, are cozy and feel very welcoming. If it wasn't their closing time, we sure would have sat there for a bit longer.
