Sapori di BiCE

This is an authentic Italian restaurant in old city walk. Not only the food, but even the look and feel of this place is Italian. During Ramadan, they're having the "La Familia" iftar and they invited my to try it out.

The Iftar is for AED 149, and includes a very tempting spread of antipasti, a selection of Nepolitan Pizzas, a selection of Risotto and Pasta, a daily chef's creation of main course, and desserts.

Among the antipasti, do not miss out on the Parmesan cheese wheel, that will leave you wanting for more.

In general, this place is a haven for cheese lovers. There also the Burrata which is one of the best that I've had.

The calamari was crispy and really good. Worth a try for sea-food lovers.

The lasagne was really flavourful. It wasn't too lumpy lumpy or dry like many places, but made really well.

Even the foccacia bread is soft, at the same time also has a good taste to it; even if you have it without any additional sauces.

The bresaola tastes so fresh, thinly cut, and the taste is on point.

The Arancini looks simple, but looks can be deceptive. This one will give you a burst of flavours at the first bite.

For the beverages, we tried their watermelon mojito, orange juice, and the regular mojito, and they all felt really refreshing.

You can see them make the pizzas in front of you in the furnace, and combined with the stature of this place, they're sure to impress you.

Cheese lovers would obviously go crazy over the quattro formaggi. which is made from four types of cheese. I can feel the cheese as I write this.

The tartufata pizza is the one made with black truffle and is definitely worth a try. It was flavourful and crispy.

For those who like a little bit of spice and some salami, the Diavola pizza is for them. The beef tasted great even by itself, and coupled with their amazing pizza base, this one surely makes for a nice spicy pizza.

An Italian spread would be incomplete without some good desserts. They have "Grandma's traditional home-made desserts" which are sure to satisfy your sweet tooth.
They have a huge selection, and it's almost impossible to try them all out. My favourite one was this chocolate cake.

They have some gelatos too and have introduced a special flavour only for Ramadan, which is the date gelato. One bite, and you can get the creamy texture of gelato combined with the indulgent date flavour.

I couldn't stress enough about their lovely ambience. They have white tables and chairs, which gives a bright and lively feel to it.

Here's their Ramadan Iftar menu:
