Urban Diner
This is a small place but has some really good food, as well as healthy options that I was invited to try out.
Definitely our favourite item here was their falafels. Served hot, and crispy, and really flavourful, with some tahina and hummus on the side along with fries. We loved it so much that we asked for another portion of it. Definitely try it out.
Another interesting dish was the spicy roast chicken. It is spicy, though not as spicy as the peri peri, and is served topped with sun-dried tomatoes and rice and fries on the side. If you want something a little spicy, this is a really good option. The chicken was soft too.
We then had the veggie wrap. It looked delicious and was served with a salad on the side. I took a bite and I really liked it. The combination of everything inside really gave it a good flavour.
I'm a fan of the shakshouka, and I had one of this. It was a bit more tangy than the ones I've usually had. Also, this has poached eggs as opposed to the sunny side up which I personally like. The flavour wasn't bad, but it could have been better.
Avocado lovers will be in for a treat here. There was a dish called the avocado garden. It not only looks tempting but tastes good too. The avocado is sliced into half; one half contains beetroot hummus, while the other has a poached egg. This was a really interesting one.
A more classic one is the avocado toast. It has three eggs with guacamole, avocado and rocket leaves. Certainly healthy and also tasted great.
For our beverages, we had a freshly squeezed orange juice, and a mixed berry mojito which looked really appealing and was refreshing.
We also had a waffle topped with fruits and chocolate sauce. This tasted average.
For the sweet endings, we had a french toast. It was topped with bananas and tasted good enough.
We ended our meal with a coffee.
The place does have some really good offerings overall and the flavour is also really nice. There were a few things which could have been better, but I totally loved the savoury dishes that I had here.
