D'Fusion - Indian fusion restaurant
This is an Indian restaurant, and as the name suggest, they've made a fusion version of the dishes.
They've got some interesting drinks. I loved the thandi kachi kairi which is a non-alcoholic mocktail. The raw mango flavour with a tangy masala tastes amazing.
They also have a desi version of mojito which is with masala, bombay chuski which is an ice-gola and some interesting cocktails like high-on-chai, tarbooz with booze, kokum express, and more.
We started with the quinoa aloo chana chaat. Quite healthy and also had a good taste.
Galouti kebabs were really soft and flavour; I really enjoyed these.
The kurkuri bhindi is great if you want something crispy to munch on.
Another vegetarian starter which was nice was the hara bhara kebab. The taste and texture, both were good.
The murgh angara tikka was flavourful but could have been a bit softer.
If you must definitely try one dish, it is the vol-au-vent. It is a puff pastry with pav bhaji stuffed inside.
For the mains, we had butter chicken which was really nice.
The mutton rogan josh had a lovely gravy and the mutton was soft and cooked well.
We had it along with parathas and vegetable pulav which was made really well.
For desserts, we had jalebi with rabdi which is an all-time favourite.
The best one that I liked was the kulfi falooda. These are served just like kulfis on a stick, and it topped with a bit a falooda. These mini pieces are just delicious.
It is a really nice place overall with good ambience, and some interesting fusion options for beverages, appetisers, mains, as well as dessert. They have live music too on certain days.
