Uncle Tea

If you're looking for a place with good tea and snacks, this is a good choice. This outlet of theirs is bigger than the other one in barsha, and they invited me to try out the food.

We started with the Bombay vada pav. I'm usually a fan of this one, but the one here was just average. It was a bit dry.

Then we had uncle's samosa which was pretty good and was served with chutneys.

The chicken grill sandwich was really good. It had a nice filling inside, and was served with fries on the side.

My favourite though was the Keema ghotala pav. The keema had a bit of a different flavour than what we usually have. The consistency was nice and so was the taste.

Mexican shawerma was a hit and miss. It looked appealing, and there was a good amount of chicken inside, although it was a bit dry. I did expect more from it.

The tuna melt panini was delicious. It was saucy and creamy. Flavourful inside; hot and crispy on the outside.

They've got pasta too, and we had the meat pasta. The sauce was not bad but overall this could have been better.

We then tried their chicken biryani. It was served with raita and gravy on the side. The chicken in this was not bad but I did expect it to have some more masala in it.

They have fresh juices too, and I tried the Dr. Detox. It has carrot, orange, apple, and honey in it, and was fresh and refreshing.

The saffron chai is really nice with a good amount of saffron in it.

The tandoori chai was also something which I really liked. It has the smokey flavour from the clay oven.
