Qush - restaurant and shisha cafe

This is a shisha chain from Mumbai and has recently opened up a branch in Dubai, that is conveniently located beside Home Centre in Karama.
They serve some great food as well as shisha, and invited me to try it out.

They've got a seating section upstairs where they serve shisha too. Their shisha menu is one of the widest ones around, and the flavours are innovative too. The regular flavours are for just AED 25 and premium ones for AED 30.

They have interesting flavours and their combinations, viz. Magai, Paan, Vanilla, Blueberry, Rajnigandha, Salsa, kachchi kairi (raw mango), Supari, and of-course the regular ones like mint, double apple, orange, sweet melon, strawberry, lemon etc.

I've been there a few times and I've also had a few other things apart from this tasting session.
One of my all time favourite which I would definitely recommend you to try out is the Murgh Kalimirch. The chicken is soft, and just melts in your mouth. The amount of spices on this one are just right. It is served with fresh chutney.

I've had the prawn koliwada too, and it was pretty good. It was crispy, and had a good quantity. I think it got a bit overshadowed compared to the murgh, but it wasn't bad.

They got us some chicken paprika. It is a bit of a spicy sauce that the chicken is made in. It tasted superb especially since it was served piping hot. On the side is some fried rice, and grilled vegetables. A continental dish with a desi taste to it.

There is pasta on the menu too, and they got us the white sauce penne. It had some olives, bell peppers, and was topped with cheese. This was quite good, though I wouldn't say the best. The garlic bread along with this one though was fantastic; soft and yum.

A fan of fish 'n' chips? They've got that too. A few pieces of fried fish that is soft on the inside and crispy on the outside. The tartar sauce along with this really brought out the flavour well. The fries weren't too bad either.

Last but not the least, they got us the Mexican Chicken seekh kebab. It was juicy, soft, flavourful, spicy. So delicious that we were left wanting for more. You gotta try out this one too.

For the drinks, we had the mojito which was was nice and lemony, but the one that we totally loved was the lemon ginger cooler. Apart from the lemon and ginger, it was minty - the peppermint kind of minty. It is green in colour and is ice-blended.

They have comfortable sofas for the seating. Though the place is not very big, the delicious food, innovative shisha flvours, and pocket friendly prices make it an excellent choice to go to.

One thing that I really liked about this place is their song selection. They play mostly Bollywood songs (new as well as old), but some English ones too.
