Indian by Nature

Was looking out for vegetarian places to go and came across this one online so decided to check it out.
The photos of the ambience looked interesting and it actually was this way in reality. It is a nice decor which gives it a colourful and contemporary feel.

We started with a portion of masala papad.
They also give complimentary fried papads before your meal.

We jumped in to the mains directly.
We had the sev tamatar ki sabji which is a famous dish in western India. The one served here wasn't exactly as expected. The sev was a bit thinner than what is used. The taste wasn't bad though.

The other main dish was dum aloo banarasi. The potato is stuffed with paneer inside and is prepared in an orange gravy. It had a burst of flavours, but was a bit tangy than expected.

We had roomali roti, and phulkas along with this, and ended our meal with a jeera rice.

The ambience and food is good enough, and though I did expect a bit better, I think I'll give them another chance and visit again sometime.
