Life n One - Healthy Vegan food
This cafe focuses on the overall well-being of a person. They've got some fitness activities too apart from the healthy food.
This is a Vegan cafe, and not just that, all their items are:
This place is really a "hidden" gem. It's one of a kind, but it is also a little hard to find.
Once you find it, you'd feel like you've entered a garden. There's a small path that leads to the back side of this place which is where the main seating area is located. You will see a lot of natural greenery throughout this place. If you are a nature lover, this is definitely for you.
As soon as you enter, you will notice that this place also has a lot of books for you to read, and has a very calm feel to it. They've got a lot of interesting items on their menu; all of which are healthy in the true sense, and not just "a little healthier" version of junk food.
I had a zucchini pasta in marinara sauce with Mediterranean veg balls. For those of you who might not know, the pasta itself is made from Zucchini. The marinara sauce was good, and the veg balls tasted good too initially, but after having a couple of these, my liking towards it dwindled.
The chickpea omelette sounded interesting, and it tasted good too. It had a bit of a coconuty flavor to it, which might put off some people.
The chocolate porridge was something that looked great and tasted good too. Don't expect it to taste like any other chocolate stuff though.
The oreo ice-cream tower was just "two storied high" an we were expecting more to it than what we got.
The Berrymania breakfast bowl was super healthy and contains four different kinds of berries, along with assorted nuts, banana, chia seeds, and almond milk.
The avo(cado) on toast looked extremely appealing when it was served, and yes, a lot of people do like avocado, but the avocado on this felt really over-powering while having it.
The lentil soup was something our taste-buds were accustomed to and tasted alright.
The acai bowl is served in a coconut, which is something interesting.
There was also the chocolate smoothie which had. This one is made from almond milk. Initially I found the taste weird, but later, it grew on me.
The air fried potatoes with rosemary was something I really liked. It is hard to go wrong with fries after all! The dip which they serve with this is made form garlic, mustard, and mayo, and this didn't taste all that great.
Overall the place also felt a little expensive. Agreed, that the food is healthy, and perhaps it costs more to source the ingredients, but then again, I might not be the right target audience for them. Also, I'd suggest that if you're the average foodie who isn't used to the vegan dietary restriction, there is less chance that you'd relish their food. If you're a fan of vegan and want to try out even healthier vegan options, then you can give it a shot.
Everyone can certainly go here for the ambiance though!
