Bangalore Empire
If you're looking for some good Bangalorean flavors, this is a great place to go. It's easy on the pocket and the taste is good too. We went there on a weekday and it wasn't crowded at all.
As soon as we sat, they got us some lemon mint juice in a small glass that felt refreshing.
We initially ordered for a mutton rogan josh, but that wasn't available, so we took the mutton kali mirch (black pepper). This one came in a green-ish gravy. It tasted quite good. The taste of black pepper wasn't overpowering, but just mild. The mutton was well cooked.
The other dish we had was the chicken tikka masala. This one was delicious. It was a tad bit spicy, and the gravy was finger-licking good. The chicken was acceptably soft.
With this we had the roti and the coin parota. Most of you might know what a coin parota is. For those of you who don't, it's an Indian bread that is really crispy. It is smaller in size but thicker than the usual size. It is made of layers put together and is definitely worth trying out.
Overall, very good food, service, and price.
