Barbeque Nation - Karama
This outlet had opened very recently, and they invited my to try out this outlet. Having been to their other branch, I knew what I should expect here.
The ambiance is nice and carries the same theme as the other outlet.
I went there around 7 on a Monday and it wasn't crowded then.
It was a dilemma to decide where to start eating from, since they have such a huge selection of amazing food.
We started with the assorted vegetable soup, and the pav bhaji.
I really liked the soup a lot. It was a tad bit on the spicier side.
The pav bhaji was okay. It felt a bit bland.
They've got a good salad selection too. I just had the pasta, corn, and German potato, as I wanted more of the grill and the mains. All the three were really good.
They have a live stir fry counter. There is one for vegetables and one for meats. I had the stir fried duck and prawns in hot garlic and schezwan sauce. It was not bad.
They had set up the live grill at our table, and that had some delicious stuff.
My favorite was the parsley fish, and the chili garlic prawn. The fish was very soft and just melted in your mouth.
Among the vegetarian, I liked their peshawari paneer.
There are also a few starters which are not part of the grill. The cajun spiced potato is an evergreen hit, and I never fail to miss that.
There is also this interesting item called the crispy friedcorns.
Oh, and of-course, the punjabi tangdi was really succulent and flavorful.
There are mutton chops too, and they're made at their live counter. Do give these as shot.
For the mains too, they have a nice variety of items - chicken, mutton, fish, crab, potato, paneer.
The paneer tikka masala was really nice, and so was the aloo katliyan.
The andhra style fish and the crab masala was prepared in a very nice gravy that complemented the seafood well.
I almost forgot..the dals was fantastic. The dal makhani as well as the dal tadka. They make these too at their live counter, and you should definitely not miss these.
They've got three types of biryani - chicken, mutton, and the veg. I had the veg biryani this time, and I loved the flavors. You could get a very nice aroma of all the spices that were used.
For drinks, we had the Guava Mary. This one was lip-smacking. It is guava juice with a hint of Tabasco, and chat masala along the rim.
We had the jal jeera too, and it was okay.
Now coming to the dessert, again, a huge variety.
They have live counters for the kulfi and jalebi. I had the gulkand kulfi and it was superb.
The jalebi was hot and crispy. I also liked the pistachio ice-cream as it was creamy.
They've got some tempting brownies with chocolate sauce, and a nice chocolate mousse too.
But the dessert I loved the most was the Yoghurt Delight. It mostly just contains sweet yoghurt, with toppings of pomegranate, nuts, and a little chocolate. I loved it mainly because it was not overly sweet, and it was also creamy.
I feel that overall they have a good selection especially for that price point. It gets a little noisy at times though.

We also had the stir fried vegetables with noodles which was very good.
