MYBC - freakshakes and fast food
MYBC had recently introduced their new freakshakes, and they invited my to try them out. It is located in Uptown Mirdiff which itself is a beautiful mall. So before you go in there you're already delighted.
The place isn't very big, but it is well designed. There is a wall with some art and grafitti.
They've got outside seating too, if you'd like to enjoy the weather.
They've got a lot of tempting items on the menu, and you'd feel like having all of them. Finally we settled for a burger, a pasta, and a freakshake (of-course).
We had the double crunch chicken burger. It comes with a black bun, and had breaded chicken breast and coleslaw inside. This was really delicious. The chicken was flavorful, and it felt very satisfactory overall. It is served with some really good fries on the side.
For the pasta, we had the Fettuccine Alfredo. The mushroom sauce was really creamy and cheesy, and I could barely stop after a bite. The beef bacon bits were just too good.
To satisfy our sweet tooth, we had the unicorn freakshake. It is light blue in color and tastes really good. The cookies and chocolate bars in it didn't taste all that good though. The chocolate piece was hard, and the cookie was soggy and chewy.
We also had the Blue Lagoon mocktail, which was good. Not too tangy, but felt refreshing.
They also sell cookies (which taste alright), and other things in the store.
The staff is fairly friendly but not very knowledgeable. I say this because...
After we ordered our food, the waitress comes after a few minutes, and tells me that since only I have been invited (and not my friend), the dishes are limited to two food items and two drinks per invitee. So we chose two freakshakes (since that's what they wanted to publicize as they have newly launched), a burger, and a pasta. After a couple of minutes, she comes back and says that we can have one freakshake and another regular drink. I know the restaurant may function in a particular way, but I expect the staff to know all this in advance.
At the end of our dining experience, they gave us a mug with some cookies, which tasted okay.
