Aioli - Radisson Blu
This place has earthy interiors and that's my favourite part about it. Also, being located inside Radisson Blu, it makes for a good location too.
It was the football season, and they invited to visit them one of the days. We were more than happy to go see the game, and have some good food her.
They have some really nice and refreshing mocktails.
I had the Aioli's Mojo which contains orange, green apple, and pineapple. I liked the zest flavour that it had to it. The pieces of fresh fruits made it even more enjoyable.
My friend had the rock star berry that's made form pineapple, red berry, blackberry, strawberry, blueberry was berrylicious good. Not only refreshing but we could taste the berries very well too.
To start with we ordered the shrimps with garlic and herbs. This one was to die for. If you're a fan of shrimps, I'd definitely recommend you to try it out. The herbs coupled with the lemon and olive oil made it taste really good. It also had some cherry tomatoes in it.
The next starter was the Arancini, which, as you might be aware are Italian rice balls. They were really cheesy and also contained porcini mushrooms. I also liked the mild tomato salsa that it was served with. The texture of the Arancini though, was just okay. It came across as a bit chewy and a tad bit hard.
For the mains, we had the Fettuccine in alfredo sauce. It also had mushrooms in it which tasted nice. The description said it has chicken strips, but the pieces were small and few. Overall, I liked the flavour of this one, though it was a tad bit dry.
This place also serves Mediterranean cuisine, and an item that caught my attention was the Sarma. It is a dish which has cabbage leaves that are stuffed with rice and beef; sounded so interesting that I had to give it a shot. It was cooked in sweet paprika sauce which made it the dish look brownish and it wasn't all that appealing as I had imagined it to be. When we had a bite, it was good enough, but not something that would blow your mind. I think you can pass on this one.
To end with, we had the cheesecake which was delicious. It is their home-made cheesecake that is topped with berry coulis. This was a really good one.
The other one was the Tiramisu. At first bite, it tasted okay, but scoop it out all the way from the bottom to feel the strong flavour of the coffee, and then it certainly tastes good.
This being in Radisson Blu, has its own parking that is free, and that is a huge plus point for me.
As far as our experience is concerned, we really liked the start of our meal, and the end. I also suggesting going here for the ambience which feels cosy and earthy.
