California Pizza Kitchen
It was the long Eid weekend and we were in Festival City looking for a good restaurant to eat. Most of them had a long waiting time, except this particular one, so we went there. The tables were empty but we were asked to wait until a hostess would come and show u to a table. Weird, I know. She came in a couple of minutes and we got a table.
They were taking a long time to come and take the order. Once the waitress was here, we thought we'd order the starters and the pizzas together because otherise it might take too long. We asked for one of our pizzas to have the thin crust. We were told that it isn't available. Like, seriously?
We ordered a starter called the "Trio". It has got three starters in it that we were really looking forward to.
We ordered 3 pizzas. It took them more than half an hour to get the pizzas. We came here since there was no waiting, as opposed to other restaurant around; in the hopes of getting food fast. Totally defeated the purpose.
One of the pizzas was the Grilled steak pizza. This one really good. I totally loved it. The beef was soft which is a really nice thing, especially on your pizza. Overall, the pizza was flavorful.
The next one was the garlic chicken. Listening to the name it sounded really interesting. Unfortunately this was not so good. I mean how could they make a pizza that has garlic, not taste so good.
The third one was the Chicken fajita. This one was okay. I felt that it lacked flavor. It wasn't something I'd suggest you to order.
It's really disappointing when a restaurant with the word "pizza" in their name, cannot get their pizzas right.
Wondering why I never described how the starter was? Because we never freaking got it !
We finished our pizzas, and were kinda anxious as to why this one hasn't arrived; but at the same time we were almost full and based on the service we received until this point, we assumed we'd never get it.
We asked for the bill. This item wasn't there; so yeah, I'm guessing they had in fact forgotten it after all.
And oh by the way, we had to really hunt for a staff member to get our bill. One of them saw us and we gestured to him. Ten minutes on, still no bill. Then again we told another staff, and that's when we finally got it.
While clearing off the bill, we expressed our dissatisfaction about the lousy service and asked them what was the reason for the same. Their justification / explanation was that they had received a big order from another table.

I really don't care about their big order, since they don't seem to care about mine.
