Drop Dubai
We're always on the lookout for a good coffee place, and after looking for some new places online, the name 'Drop' seemed really catchy, so we decided to check it out.
You get the aroma of coffee even before you enter the cafe, and the feeling is heavenly.
Their speciality is the slow brewed coffe, and so we ordered the cold chemex pour over. This one was really good. Poured over ice, I really enjoyed it.
In the mood for some regular hot coffee, my friend ordered a cappuccino. This one wasn't all that good, and we didn't quite like it.
Wanting something sweet, we decided to order a brownie too; chose the fudge brownie. It tasted okay. It was just a tiny piece, and priced at AED 12, which we did not find worth it at all.
The ambiance though was good. I think it was the aroma that I really liked. Also, the seating is innovative. They've got tables for two like the one pictured below, and stools too.
The place was a bit crowded and felt understaffed as we waited patiently to order. Also, parking was a bit hard to find even on a weekday evening.
You can go there for the aroma of the coffee and a slow brew if you like that; otherwise it is a bit of a let down.
The way they wrote their wifi password was really cool. It was among the list of items that they serve. Can you spot it in the picture below?
