Dillicious - the food capital

As you must have guessed, this is a desi place, and I was really looking forwards to dine here when they invited me for their dillicous food.

As soon as you enter, you will notice the truck kept there, to give a real desi feel. The truck has the typical truck quotes on it too!

Their kitchen has a glass wall so you can see what they've making from there.

As we decided on what to relish, they got us some papdi chaat and papads to munch on.

They recommended the all time favourite chaat item - the pani puri. It was served in an innovative way that left us smiling when it was served. The taste though was just okay. Also, it was really inconvenient to take all the items from that "ferris wheel".

For the beverages, I had the cucumber lemon greentini. It was really refreshing, and it tasted like a regular mocktail with a hint of cucumber. It didn't taste like those healthy ones which you don't feel like having at times.

The strawberry mojito was also very good and berrylicious.

The pineapple orange greentini was good enough, but not as good as the former greentini.

Fo the soup, they recommended the murgh kali mirch soup. We could get a good flavour of the black pepper and the pieces of chicken were small which made it ideal for a soup.

For the starters, we had the murgh lasooni which was soft; the flavours were a bit mild, but good nonetheless.

The one which I really liked a lot was the burra kebab. If you're unaware, it's just like lamb chops, but with a desi flavour. I really liked this. It was soft, and very flavourful. The meat also came off with ease.

For the mains, they recommended their best-sellers. The good thing is that they've also focused on the presentation of these dishes, so they look nice when served.

The first item was the chicken lababdaar. The quantity was good and it was served in a big black container. This one was delicious, and the meat was soft too.

The other one was the rara gosht. This was served on a little stand. It had a spicy semi-dry gravy, and was indeed flavourful.

We had this with chur chur naan which which has a filling of paneer and onion. I goes really well with the spicy desi food.
The garlic naan and the stuffed kulcha were also made well.

We were really full after this, and there wasn't much place left for dessert but we just had to try this which they highly recommend. It is the mangolicious kulfi. What's different about this is that the kulfi isn't mango flavoured, but it is the regular malai flavour with some nuts. What makes it mangolicious is the fact that it is surrounded by mango around it. It is real fresh mango (so the taste would depend on the season). We could not stop at one, and had to have another serving of it. This is one dessert you should really try.

It is a good place for desi food. They also do not use any food colouring in their food, and it is reasonably priced for the quality of food that they serve.
