Kulcha King - barsha

I've been to Kulcha King a few times and was invited to try out their outlet in Barsha. This is a big and spacious outlet which is what I really liked.

There is also a small private seating area inside.

We started with some mango lassi that was sweet and really thick too.

I'm not much of a salad lover, but when I saw their Amul cheese salad, I couldn't resist. It is really delicious. Well, most of the salad is just what you'd get anywhere, but the fried Amul cheese inside is a game changer.

The chicken Caesar salad too was really nice. The texture as well as the flavour, both were good.

For starters, we had the chicken tikka and it tasted delicious. It could have been a little softer though.

We had the lamb gosht for our mains, and this wasn't much to my liking. It was hard, and also oily.

Among the veg kulchas, we tried the onion kulcha which was pretty good. I like the crispy texture from the outside. Also, the chole and the salsa-like chutney along with it taste fantastic.

The chicken kulcha tasted good, but the texture wasn't as expected. The crispy part on the outside had become hard and chewy which did not leave me too happy.

We had the veg biryani as well as the chicken one. Both of them were really good. I think I liked the chicken a bit more.

For dessert, we had phirni and I really like the texture. The taste was good too but it was a bit too sweet.

I really like the ambience of the place though.
