Surf N Fries

I'm sure fries are a comfort food for most of us, and what better place than one that is dedicated just to fries.
I was recently invited to this place to try of the delicious fries that they have.

We started with the classic ones. These are thick cut, and are sort of a curved rectangle (hard to explain) in shape. I really liked the texture as well as the taste of the fries here. It was also nice to see that the fries are not oily. The classic ones are served in a cone-shaped holder along with sauces/dips.

Since the primary focus here are the fries, they do have a fries with a few more combinations too. The best part was that the toppings were just enough to bring the additional flavours while adding your fries, and not so much that you don't even taste the fries, which does happen at a lot of places lately.

My favourite one were the beef bacon jalapeno fries. I just couldn't stop having this one. As the name says, it's got bacon (made from beef), and jalapenos in it; and are topped with Hollandaise sauce and some spring onions. I definitely recommend trying these out.

The next one were the nacho fries. They're called so because they come with guacamole, salsa sauce, cream, and jalapenos. These were nice too, and if you like the Mexican flavours, you'll definitely like these.

We also tried the sweet potato fries here, and they were good enough. The taste was good, but this isn't their forte. They could have been a bit more crunchier and paired with sauces/dips that complement it well.

Apart from fries, they do have some bites to munch on.
The first one we had were the chicken tenders. These were big and meaty; a tad bit dry though I'd say.

The one that was certainly loved a lot by all of us was the camembert bites. This has got melting cheese inside. What's not to love. Do try these too.
We also had the cheese chilli bites, which is pretty self-explanatory. These were nice too, but I think got over-shadowed by the camembert bites. The two items above look similar. In the below picture: the ones at the back are camembert bites, and the ones in front are the cheese chilli bites.

For satisfying your sweet tooth, they have the chocolate chunk cookies. These are served along with some delicious sweet sauce like Nutella, chocolate et al. The cookies by themselves are very good, and with these heavenly dips, they get even better. The cookies are thicker than usual, and a bit softer too.

The other item we had was the brownie bites. These are bite sized pieces of brownies. At first bite, they taste okay, but let the flavour linger over your tongue a bit, and you'll surely like it.

The place is quite small; it has place for about 8 people.
A good thing though is that there is parking right outside it which is free. Three spots of free parking, which might not always be free, but you can parking in the lane behind which has RTA parking along the road.

The place might be a tad bit pricey, but if you're a hardcore lover of fries, you'll surely enjoy it.
