Lee's Wok
This is an Asian restaurant located in Discovery Gardens. The concept is a bit different that regular restaurants. This is along with an Indian restaurant called Gabbar Grill. So you can order from their menu or of Lee's Wok's menu. This serves Chinese, Thai, and some Filipino dishes. I was invited here to try out their food.
Notice the bandhani (Indian) combined with the lamp (Chinese).
We started with the chili chicken dry. The chicken was made well and the spice level to it was also perfect.
Next was Lee's prawn cocktail. This is something like the dynamite prawns but I found this to be a bit more spicier. The prawns tasted great, and I totally loved this appetiser.
We had some dumplings too - the Spicy Lohan vegetable dumpling.
These were stuffed with greens. I personally found the dimsums to taste okay. They weren't bad, but nothing great. But a few other really liked them.
If you like Crispy corn, then you must definitely try it here. It not only tastes great, but also has two different textures of corn. So when you eat it, you feel the two different textures in your mouth that are well complementing.
They also got us some Sauted Chicken with cashew nuts. This was really not to my liking. It tasted somewhat weird to me. It seemed out of place.
For our mains, we had the veg Green curry along with steamed jasmine rice. The green curry was really yum. I could get the flavours of coconut, but it was not overpowering. They used ample amount of ginger in it though.
We ended our meal with the classic Thai dessert - the Mango with sticky Rice. I really liked the mango that they had used. The rice was a bit different than usual but it did taste really good.
The restaurant may not be visible from the main road (front side), but is located in bldg. no. 5 in Discovery Gardens.
