Yakitate

We were looking out for a place to have some reasonable Japanese food and stumbled upon this one online. The menu looked interesting and we decided to check it out.

It was a weekend and the place was really crowded.

They've got a great selection of drinks too. We had a matcha mocha. It is just what the name says. It had flavours of both, and we really liked it. If you've never tried matcha before, this one is a good option, since it lowers the bitterness of the matcha, and you also get flavours of the chocolate.

For starters we had the chicken yakitori which are skewers of grilled chicken with yakitori sauce and sesame seed. This one was really nice, but towards the end, the taste faded away.

I'm a fan of the chicken katsu curry and I ordered one. This was served with miso soup and kimchi on the side. I really like the flavours and the crunchiness that this one had to it.

An interesting item that I saw was the ramen burger. Instead of the bun, they use ramen noodles, and the patty is inside. We had the original one (beef), and it tasted okay. I liked the ramen more than the patty. It was served with edamame (you can choose veggies of potato instead).

Of-course we had to try some sushi here. They have sushi donuts too, which is a little bigger form of a sushi and in the shape of a donut. You can mix and match 3 different types. We liked the unagi and the salmon one.

Their waitress Sara deserves a special mention as she was attentive and served with a smile.
