Ying & Yang

We all love Chinese food, and when these guys invited me, I was excited to check them out.
This place is a bit smaller than what I expected, but the staff was friendly.

They've got a wide range of starters, and we wanted it all. Instead we ordered a platter, so that we could try many of them.
It included the following:

Butterfly Prawns: These are flattened prawns, that are fried. These tasted really nice and crispy, especially with the sweet & sour sauce that they gave along with it.

Fried wantons: Loved the stuffing inside it, and it had a good taste overall.

Salt & Pepper Winglets: These tasted great with the chili sauce. These were crunchy and meaty.

Spring Roll: This was a bit of a let down, and we didn't quite like it.

Tempura Prawns: This wasn't bad, but the coating was a bit thick for my liking.

For mains we had the lamb in black pepper sauce. I loved the flavour of the sauce. The lamb was good too, but could have been a bit softer.

We had this with the Prawn Hakka noodles. The quantity of this one was very good, and I liked the way the noodles tasted.

We had a lemon mint juice to drink. It was really refreshing and tangy.

The food made us feel full a bit sooner than expected.

If you're looking for a place to have a quick bite of Chinese food that is at a reasonable price, this would be a good option.
