Piadera - business bay
Piadera is the name derived from Piada which is an Italian flatbread. This particular outlet is really small and has place for about 5 people to sit inside, and some outside seating too; and caters mostly to deliveries and take-aways. They invited me to try out this outlet.
We started with some drinks. The waiter recommended the ginger lemon detox. This one was really zesty, and sour, but quite nice if you're used to something like this.
I had an iced mocha, and it was nice and chocolatey, and served in a glass bottle. It was quite filling too.
We had three of their Piadas. My favourite one was the spicy Indian. This one has curried chicken along with tomatoes, onions, cucumbers, and chilly sauce. As you must have guessed, it is on the spicier side.
I had the Marina too, and this one is for fish lovers. It contains tuna with tomatoes, onions, capers, and garlic sauce. This one had strong flavours to it.
We also tried the Piadera which is their signature Piada. It contains bresoala, stracciatella, and rocket leaves. The bresoala tasted nice, but I found this to have less filling in it compared to the bread.
They also have a couple of nice cheese platters. We had the caprese as well as the Burrata. The caprese has buffalo mozarella and tomatoes with pesto sauce. It's basically cheese and tomatoes; it is simple and I really liked it.
The Burrata is served on a bed of rocket leaves and drizzled with extra virgin oil. I found this one to be a bit bland.
For those who like healthy they have yoghurt with granola, fruits and honey which I really liked. The combination tastes pretty good.
They have salads too and we had the chicken caesar salad. The lettuce was really crunchy, and I liked the chicken in this as well. This was one of my favourite here.
We then had a nutella shake too. This one felt a bit watered down and more like ferrero than Nutella. We didn't like it all that much.
For dessert, they have a wonderful Tiramisu. We totally indulged in this one.
The tenerina chocolate cake is not too bad; it tasted better when warm.
It is a good place if you want some quick healthy food.
