Sushi Burrito

I've recently become a fan of sushi, and it's good to see places trying out some fusion with sushis. They invited me to try this place out; the name was so interesting that I had to check them out.

The place looks very Japanese given the color scheme, and also a little cherry blossom tree.

As we were deciding what sushi to have, we first ordered the dynamite prawn. This was freshly made, hot, and tasted really good. I liked the crunchy that it had to it.

You can choose your sushi to be made in a burrito, or as a poke bowl. For the burrito, you can choose nori sea-weed or rice paper. We had their spicy salmon sushi in a rice paper burrito. It was delicious, and we finished this one in no time. Also, for those who are fans of burritos, this one comes with almost no guilt, since it is really healthy.

We then ordered a chicken tempura poke bowl. The chicken in this was cooked really well, and it tasted different (in a good way) than what you'd expect a sushi to be like. We enjoyed having this one as well.

They also have some interesting soups; one of which was the chicken tortilla soup. We just had to try this one out. Sadly, it didn't taste all that good. The tortilla pieces in it felt a bit out of place.

We also wanted to get a taste of what their mexican bowls would taste like, and so we called for a Mexican poke bowl. This one had beef in it which tasted good. The overall flavour wasn't bad.

For drinks we had a sangria which was fruity and pretty refreshing.

The other one was a drink that had a base of coconut water, and contained cinnamon. The hint of cinnamon accentuated the taste of this one well.

Lastly, we also tried the crunchy salmon maki roll. This one tasted okay; something about it felt amiss.

The sofas are not very comfortable to sit on since the base is really long, and you cannot rest your back.

The staff felt a bit monotonous and not all that friendly.
