Organic Products at Lulu
Lately, the culture of Organic food is rising as we realize the importance of preserving biodiversity and maintaining ecological balance. People are aware of Organic foods, but the availability is limited. Lulu aims to make Organic food easily available to all, and so they have come up with a whole range of organic products. They have about 1,200* products in all, which is truly a large number.
They have something Organic in just about every category. What astonished me the most was the t-shirts. They're made from organically grown cotton, and cost just AED 19. This is less than a third of the price of most t-shirts that we see in stores these days.
Another product which left me surprised was the Organic diapers. They're made completely from plant-based materials.

Of-course they have a really wide range of the regular Organic products like grains, pulses, juices, sauces, oils, teas, coffees, flour, meat, sea-food, eggs, fruits, vegetables, etc.
A very good news for those who like to eat healthy is that Lulu has a dedicated section** of products which are not only organic, but also preservative free, additives free, gluten free, sugar free.
Lulu also has a section of UAE grown products, and is the largest customers for the local farmers.
The main concern regarding organic products that people have is that they're pricey, but at Lulu, you'll find many of these products are almost the same price as the non-organic ones, and very affordable.
